Presentation of Lambda Alpha

Academic Experience

I am a double major in Anthropology and Library & Information Sciences with a minor degree in Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi. I am in the USM Honor's College and a member of the Lambda Alpha Anthropology Honor's Society. During my time as a student, I was the treasurer of the Southern Miss Anthropology Society Club. I am currently a research assistant of Dr. Kenji Noguchi's Culture, Values, and Well-being Research Lab (CVW) , for which I am also the social chair.

Research Experience

My membership in the CVW lab has greatly facilitated my research. I have acted as a research assistant for graduate-level work, and I have been able to collaborate with graduate and undergraduate students in researach studies. I and two of my peers are currently researching religious group perceptions in anonymous chatrooms in our study titled The Virtual Hiding Place: Analyzing Anonymous Chatroom Behavior. I have had the privilege of presenting this research at both the Southeastern Psychological Association's 72nd annual meeting and at the University of Southern Mississippi's Undergraduate Research Symposium (pictured right). I am currently conducting anthropological reserach for my honors thesis on USM student user perceptions of Large Language AI models, which is still in its planning phases.
